March 26,2026

MATH: We did a Review, Test and Retest. SCIENCE: We did a review and a test on paleontology. ENGLISH: we learned sentence diagramming, avoid shifts in verb tense, learned about the author Leo Tolstoy, editing & editing symbols and read a short story "A just judge".

 

March 19,2026​

MATH: We did solving equations with decimals & fractions, solving percent problems using fractions, percents with decimals & fractions, percents: finding the whole, percents: finding the percent, complex fractions. SCIENCE: we learned about the different between artifact and ecofact. HISTORY: We learned about queen Elizabeth and how she had to become queen at 16. ENGLISH: We read our Rudi chapter 4, sentence structures, compound and complex sentences,

 

March 12, 2026

MATH: We learned about finding the percent of a number, combining like terms, distributive property, factoring, Solving equations with addition and subtraction. SCIENCE: We learned about permafrost and how when your frozen your skin and blood is still there. HISTORY: We learned about the battle of York town. ENGLISH: We read about Rudi and did a test and verbs adjectives and nouns.

 

March 5, 2026

MATH: how to find supplementary and complementary, angles adding up to 180 and 360, and parts of a circle. SCIENCE: The environment of where you find dinosaur bones like cliffs. HISTORY: We learned about James Lafyette and how he spied on the British and then battled in New York city and was taken to slavery. ENGLISH: we read the book Rudi and annotating and diagramming sentences.

 

February 26, 2026

MATH: retest, Addition and subtraction of integers, multiplication and division of integers, square and cube root, expressions. SCIENCE: We saw the different kinds of things people have found and what some are made of. HISTORY: We learned about how George Washingtons troops lost limbs in the cold weather traveling for war. ENGLISH: we did our essay and finished and how to use "may" in  sentence. 

 

February 19, 2026

MATH: We did a test and did a retest. SCIENCE: Where Dinosaurs are located and what they have found over time. HISTORY: When George Washington hid in the fog to retreat. ENGLISH. We started an essay and read quotes about good friendship and did diagramming sentences.  

February 12, 2026

MATH: surface area and nets, conversions between fractions, decimals and percents, reciprocals and division with fractions, properties, coordinate planes. SCIENCE: we did test review and learned about the ecosystem. ENGLISH: we wrote and finished our story and answer questions about Edgar.
 

 

February 5, 2026

MATH: Division of multi-digit numbers, Dividing decimal numbers, Exponents and expanded notation with exponents, Rational numbers with exponents, order of operations, perimeter and area of irregular figures. SCIENCE: We learned how out of all the unique animals we are the most complects and about octopus and how unique they are. HISTORY: We learned about where the declaration of independents was signed. ENGLISH: we just wrote our fictional story mines called Launa's big wave and finish Toni the wood carver   

 

January 29, 2026

MATH: We did least common multiples and we did adding, subtracting and multiplying fractions we did number patterns: infinite sequences and expanded notation to decimals, adding and subtracting decimals, fractions and negative fraction on number lines. SCIENCE: Vascular and nonvascular and the produce of plants. HISTORY: We learned about the people who signed the constitution and about Thomas Jefferson. ENGLISH: We did a story and read tony the woodcarver. 

 

January 22, 2026

MATH: We did turn improper fraction in a whole numbered factions and about the area and perimeter of parallelograms and triangles. SCIENCE: We learned about mushrooms and fungi and did an experiment with yeast. HISTORY: We learned about the declaration of independence and under lined our favorite line. ENGLISH: We've been reading Toni the Woodcarver and where to put comma and capitalization. 

 

January 15, 2026

This week in Math absolute numbers and prime numbers and the opposite of a negative number. In Science we learned about bacteria and learned about classification of living things. In History we learned about loyalist and patriots and about Paul revere. In English we turned in our Abe biography, and we read and answered questions about a girl named Johanna who wrote books.

 

January 8,2026

In math we did a review for our test, and we are doing a test and doing to the power and pie. In Science we learned about the eukaryote and the proteyote and the difference and about the different kind of cells. In History we learned about the Boston tea party. In English we did a test and are doing a biography on Abraham Lincoln.

 

December 4, 2025​

Math, we learned terminating and repeating decimals, we worked statistical data points and learned how to convert fractions to decimals and we did volume and learned how to divide by decimals and how you have to move the decimal point. In Science we learned how a screw is an inclined plane and we had to draw a picture of a screw. In History we learned about the renaissance and how Raphiel drew on a ceiling, so we did an activity where we drew upside down. English we read Abe's fish and worked diagraming sentences and learned effect & affect

In Math this week we learned about pie and circumference, area and we learned about the radius and diameter. In Science we learned about how science works for sports. In History we learned about Joan of Arc and how she was the first women to go to war and she even fought injured. In English we read Mary jones and her bible and did diagraming sentences.

This week in Math we learned about converting and did the converting kingdom and time and I like to use the Z method. In Science we learned about energy and work. In History we learned about king John and how he killed his nephew, Arthur. In English we read Mary Jones and her bible and answered questions about the book.

this week in Math we learned distributive property and simplifying fractions. In Science we learned f = m x a. In History we learned about Alfred the great and William the conquer. In English we learned about the difference between effect and affect.

This week in Math we learned about adding and subtracting fractions. In Science we learned about who came up with the speed of light. In History we learned about St. Patrick and his life. In English we read a passage about an artist and answered questions to see if we understood it.

 

October 23, 2025

This week in Math we did a test and a retest, and we learned how to add & subtract decimals. In Science we got new science books and were learning about motion and friction and about Issac Newton and his life. In History we learned about how the old newton didn't had roads, but the new one did, and we also read a story about a boy who visited his cousins and they had to cut wheat to the romans. In English wrote an essay about thing were grateful for and that are examples and learned the difference between than and then. 

 

October 9, 2025

This week in math we learned about decimals and rounding decimals. In Science we did our test on the Human body. In History we learned locations of  Egyptian buildings. And in English we did our Nature Essay and did FANBOYS and conjunctions. 

 

October 1, 2025 

In Math this week we did division into mixed numbers and logic puzzles and Ferin height and Celsius. In Science we learned about DNA and genetics. In History we learned about Moses and the 10 plagues and a lot about the Passover. In English we learned about capitalization and wrote our Nature Essay.

In math this week we learned area perimeter fractions and shapes. In Science we learned about skin and the epidermis and the layers of skin and stuff like that. In History we learned about Joseph and the hard trials in his life, but he knew God had a plan for him. In English we learned how to start an opening paragraph, and we finished blind Brother.

In Math we learned about angles and protractors and did a math test. In Science we learned about bones and muscles. In History we learned on how smart they were and how much their language changed. Demotic Hieroglyphic and Greek are all inscribed on the Rosetta stone. in English we read the blind brother and did conjunctions independent and dependent clauses. and did pickle ball for specials.

September 11,2025​

In Math this week we learned about negative numbers and centimeters, inches and yards and estimating area and average, median, mode, and range. In Science we learned about red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma and platelets and lounges. In History we learned about the Ancient Egypt and how a farrow was something the Egypt King would stay in. In English we learned about Greek and Latin words and read more Blind Brother.     â€‹

September 4,2025

This week in Math we practiced and learned more about long division, short division, order of operations, graphing, and square root. In Science we learned how a heart works and our lounges and how a smokers heart looks like compared to a normal heart. And in History we learned about Abraham and Isacc and when Abraham tried to sacrifice Isacc because God was testing him and before he killed him God stopped him. In English we read more Blind Brother and in the book this guy gave the boy bennies big brother money for bennies eyesight and then felt guilty so he wants to give the $100 back to the guy and we also did some adjectives and verbs and stuff like that.

August 28,2025 ​​

This week was super fun, and I learned a lot. In Math we did a couple different things like graphing, long division, and multiplying by powers of ten. And in Science we learned about the stomach, and we did a project where we got a plastic bag and put pieces of bread in it and vinegar saying like the bag was the stomach the bread was like we were chewing it, and the vinegar was stomach acid. In history we learned about Noah and his ark and about Adam and Eve and their children Cane and Able, and how when Noah went out of his ark after the flood and there was a rainbow symbolizing no more floods. In English we are reading a book called The Blind Brother. And helping verbs and prepositions.

August 21,2025       

This week was my first week of middle school and the most thing I've worked on is Math we are learning about prime and composite numbers like 1,2,3,5,7,11,13,17,and19.In Science we learned about the human body and it was a little Grose and cool at the same time we also learned about the cells in a growing baby's body. In History we learned how God made the earth in 7 days, the first day he called the light "day" and the darkness "night". The second day he separated the sky from the seas and called it "Heaven". The third was dedicated to making plants and trees to grow fruit and cover the land. On the fourth day, God created the sun, moon, and stars to give light to the world. The fifth day God made creatures like fish and whales in the waters, and in the air He created birds. Then, on the sixth day, God made all kinds of animals, and finally, God made Man and Women. On the seventh day, He rested. Now in English we read poems and chose two that we have to memorize, and I chose Silence and The difference.
